The Congress Venue
The Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok is often voted as one of the top ten hotels in the world offering excellent business and meeting facilities and well as catering to the holiday maker or business visitor.
  
Arrival by taxi:
The Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok is approximately 35 minutes by road from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Taxis, minibuses, and limousine services can be found on the ground floor of the domestic and international arrival halls. Taxis cost approximately USD 1 for the first two kilometers, then about USD.10 for each kilometer thereafter.

The registration desk will operate during the following hours:

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the COGI-BCGIP Congress Final Program, your personal name badge, invitations, etc. Please remember to wear your name badge to all Congress activities and social events.

COGI-BCGIP Congress
The first session starts at 18:00 on Thursday, November 24, 2011 after the FIGO Educational Seminar.
 
  
Welcome Reception
All registered participants are invited to the Welcome Reception on Thursday, November 24,
19:00-20:00, after the COGI-BCGIP Congress Opening Ceremony.
Your invitation is included in the personal registration kit.

Invited Speakers' Presentations
Congress Speakers are requested to visit the speakers’ preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation.
Speakers should bring their slide presentations to be uploaded no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.
The Speaker’s Preview Room will be open from 07:30 every morning of the Congress days.

Poster Displays
Posters should be mounted between 07:30-08:00 on the day of your presentation.
Please note that the posters will be changed daily.
Please check the Congress Program for your schedule, if you are in Group A or Group B!
Poster Presenters should plan to be alongside their posters during the coffee breaks.
Please remember to dismantle your poster at the end of the day of your presentation, no later than 19:00.
The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time.
 
Lunches
Buffet lunch will be served for Congress participants as per the official program on Thursday, November 24, 2011, Friday, November 25, 2011 and Saturday, November 26, 2011.

Visas
Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Thailand. Please check with your local Thai Consulate or Embassy.

Informal for all occasions

Climate
Bangkok in November generally has warm temperatures during the day, cool evenings and relatively low humidity.
